“Does art have value in our lives?”
Without art and other related activities, I believe atrophy of the right side of the brain will occur, resulting in a mass lack of imagination, expression, appreciation (of many things) and creative problem solving skills. Yes, I believe the inventive spirit is inborn, yet it needs to be nurtured and developed. Without art, and an emphasis on creative exploration, a child develops few of these attributes.
Every great society has had great art!
